Confession Friday

I know I say this every Friday, but TGIF!!

Ok...Confessions....

I confess that blogs need notificiations/inbox just like facebook. (If there is an easier way to know when someone comments on a post that I don't know of, secretly tell me so I don't feel like a dur ta dur)

I confess that I make up my own lyrics to a lot of songs. If someone catches me & asks what did you just say? I just turn the radio back up & keep singing.

I confess that I purposely ignored my phone the other day when someone asked if I could work for them. AND somehow I am still working for them?!

I confess that I am inasane. I decided that I am going to take summer classes this summer without much thought of how I am going to do it.

I confess that if Papa John's in Waterloo doesn't open soon, I'm going to lose it. I heard they were supposed to open Monday. I drove there. Nope! Not open. Now apparently there is some strike going on? Logan wants pizza. And not just any pizza. PAPA JOHN'S!!!

I confess that I purposely pretended I was in a deep sleep last night when Luke woke up in the middle of the night so Trav would get up with him. Shhhhh.

I confess that I call Travis 'Dad' a lot. (I always hated when people did this. My father-in-law calls my mother-in-law Grandma. ugh) But, I got to thinking about it. And it came down to this. Until Luke was born I hadn't called someone 'Dad' for 11 years. You try not being able to call your Dad, Dad for 11 years and then make fun of me for calling my husband Dad. It's not like that's all I call him. I just notice that I do it sometimes.

I confess that I am re-decorating Luke's room. Yes, I know that I did this a few months ago. Buuuut. Until we get out of this teeny tiny house, the boys are going to have to share a room. Therefore, bedding has to coordinate. Just wait...it's going to be adddorable! It might be a month or so though. I gave up my credit card so I am buying all the supplies with CASH. Say what?!

I confess that Travis asked me the other day "You're not even THINKING about changing Luke's room are you?!?!" Nooooo.... Now, why in the world would he think I would do something silly like that?? ;)

I confess that... WELL, I JUST HAVE TO SHARE WITH YOU!!!!!
Luke has been coming up to me, squeezing me real tight. Like a REAL hug, and saying "Mommy, I need you" OMGosh. My heart melts like an ice cream cone on a hot summer day. Seriously, THIS is the BEST job in the world life. Ahhhhh :)
