That's it

It was a rather eventful weekend. Thursday/Friday/Saturday was dedicated to the Yard Sale. BLAH! But worth it!!! Made $200 more than what I thought I was going to!! And better yet, got all of the junk outta my house!! ((Meagan, I kept whatever newborn clothes I had left JUST IN CASE "it" is a BOY. With our December babies they will work out perfectly!)) And Sunday was dedicated to the Poker Run for Breast Cancer Awareness. We had a pretty good turn out despite the weather!

IF you missed the benefit Sunday, you should really keep your calenders open for June 4th!!!! We (The Office) is going to have a "Back to the 80's" night where you can dress up & dance the night away to some good tunes! EVERYONE working is DONATING their time & working for FREE!!!! All our tips we make will be going straight to the race June 11th!!!!!

I am so proud to of all the employees. They really have stepped up & opened their hearts to this cause. All the waitresses have been putting all of their change from tips into a bucket for the past month or so. The last time we counted it was around $500. How awesome is that?? So just remember...next time you tip a waitress at The Office $1.98 you are really tipping her a $1. Soooo maybe you should order a water & tip her a little more ;) ALL change goes in the bucket!!!

See, ever penny counts. Every open heart counts. You don't have to be rich or famous to make a difference. Every little gesture counts. Whether it is volunteering, donating, spreading the word, or even just showing your face. "you must be the change you wish to see in the world" if you don't do something...how can you expect anyone else too?

As far as today went...welp, it was Monday. Craved DiCarlo's & of course it was closed. Failed an exam. Yup flat out failed it. Oh well, I honestly do no care. I passed the class & that is all the matters. You know the saying "anything worth doing is worth doing right" Ya, well I completely disregard this teaching when it comes to general education classes. SERIOUSLY. I will never ever ever use this crap in everyday life. It's annoying that I have to go through it AGAIN! I think I will do a lot less whining once I get into my core classes. The few that I do take now I ace without even trying. Comes naturally? Why on earth science, math, etc don't is beyond me.

I have TWO more exams. TWO!!!! Then I have another semester under my belt. I wish I could say that my summer break would be beginning after these exams, but I'll be back on the saddle in 2 weeks when summer classes start. Gross! But hey! I'm not going to complain, two weeks is two weeks. I will take ANY type of break :)
