It has clicked.

An old man once said...

"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."

So over...

Being a people pleaser. It has caused me nothing but unecessary stress and heartache.

Caring what others think of me. "What other people think of you is none of your business."

People who are fake/lie. Ya, not cool.

Not being able to trust anyone (with very few exceptions, of course)

Drama. Wears me out and is completely beyond ridic. In fact, I don't even understand it??

So ready for...

Surronding myself with people who make me laugh!

Minding my own business.

Focusing a little more on myself and what I want to give to the world.

Getting rid of any negative energy I have and turning it into good energy.

Living to the fullest every single day for my boys.

I have ALWAYS been a people pleaser, and this week I have had to let that go, too. Must be something in the air, haha. I just have so much on my plate and I have to say "No" sometimes. It isn't worth it to worry about what other people think...especially when our kids are involved. I need any extra time I have to be spent with my girls, not on another project.

Whew, sorry...guess I needed to vent. :)

I've been feeling this way lately, too, so I know where you're coming from. Love that quote!
