Mr. Webster

I have to share! Because I'm about to burst with excitement!! LB's vocabulary is expanding at a very rapid pace in the past couple of days! Now, here is the thing. I talk to Luke allllll the time. I tell him secrets, vent to him, joke with him, explain to him, tell him I love him more than the air I breathe. He never ever ever talks back. Sometimes he actually looks at me like I'm insane. BUUUUUUUUUT tonight, just making small talk to him asked "Where's Daddy?" and all of a sudden I hear this little sweet voice say "Ouuusiiiide Mom". I was shocked! I cried. I laughed. I squeezed the life out of him. AND to my amazement, Travis WAS outside watering the dogs. It was the best feeling in the world! Ahhhh, soooo happy!! So then we were on a roll. Dad came back in & we sat down on the couch & started drilling LB like mad parents. We would say the words we already knew he could say & he would repeat them. Even though we've heard him say them a million times over and over again we were estatic & just grinning ear to ear. Then we were trying new words that he had never said before and sure enough! He repeated them. Oh it was such a great night!! There were other words we would say & he would repeat gobblie gook but all in all he did an amazing job! Nana & Papa will be so happy that he can finally say their names! Oh how I love being a Mommy especially to the most amazingly sweet adorable baby boy in the world!!
