I heart Fall

I opened the windows today. Absolutely love the smell of fresh air mmmmm :) I lit some of the fall scented candles, which led me to wanting a pumpkin pie pronto. Yes, I could wake up early tomorrow & bake one but I think I rather just walk over to Country Kitchen and buy one of theirs. They are simply delicious, if you have never had one. They use the same recipe as my Mom does, but getting my Mom to make me a pie now a days would be like me losing 50 pounds over night. I was never a fan of pumpkin pie until I was pregnant with Luke. Now it just wouldn't be Fall if I didn't have a piece at least once a week. While we are on the Fall note, the next thing on the agenda is picking out Luke's Halloween costume. This will most likely be the last year I will ever be able to pick his costume out for him. So it has to be super cute! He was a cute little blue & green monster last year. But also last year he wasn't as mobile. So the costume he gets is going to have to adapt to his lifestyle. What are people thinking when they design those things? Do you really think he is going to keep something the size of a watermelon on his head all night or be able to sit with a big ol tail on his butt? I don't think so.
