Week Summary

It has been an entire week since I blogged last?! What a slacker.

Surely, I don't need to bore you with everything that has happened with the Roscow's in the past week. Not that I would mind sharing every detail of my life though. After all, I think it is pretty entertaining. TLC has offered me a gig once or twice...... laugh.

LUKE. Oh my, where do I start? We are working on being a well behaved 2 year old (if there is such a thing). Time Outs have gone from 39 per day to about 17. So we are progressing. I always doubted myself when I became a parent that I would not "stick to my guns" But all in all I can actually say I am proud of myself when it comes to this talent. It's hard, don't get me wrong BUT I refuse to have a brat for a child. A stinker on occasion, yes, but a brat is just in a completely different category in my mind. There is no reason for such madness. Plus, he forgives me quickly. One of the perks of being the center of someone's world :)
If anyone has any advice on how to handle the terrible 2's, please share! Funny Note: Luke & I were watching the Time Traveler's Wife (cute movie) the other day. There was a "make out" scene & my little baby boy started to giggle & make kissing noises. THEN! the camera showed the guy caressing the woman's breast (with her shirt on, of course) and Luke goes "WHOOOOAAA" I busted up laughing. Not really comprehending however, what had just happened. Is he really old enough to notice these things? Lord. From now on, that kid is going to live & breathe Mickey Mouse Clubhouse :S

*I finally caved in & got a new laptop. If you saw what I had to do in order to facebook creep & blog on a regular basis with my old computer, you would simply die. It was a horrible experience & I am absolutely in love with this new one!! This is good news for you too! Now my blogs will be much more invasive & full of pictures :)

*If you haven't heard, my phone was "stolen" a few weeks ago & I have been tortued by using my old FLIP phone. Well, Well, Well went to the Verizon store today. I decided that I was just going to buy a new phone, that I could not handle this ancient piece of dirt anymore. The cheapest phone (since I'm not due for an upgrade until June 17, 2011...WHAT) was 180.00 big ones. So of course, being the princess that I am decided to go a little up the totum pole. The phone I decided I was going to get was $240. Contemplating in my head for less than 30 seconds whether I actually needed this pretty little phone or not. So, calling the hubs was going to make this a deal or no deal. He told me I was crazy, and I would be on the outside looking in if I spent that much money on a cell phone. So...he hurried up there before I signed my life away. Well, thank goodness I married a man who doesn't mess around. He brought up to the saleswoman that we have insurance on both of our phones. She goes, "Oh yeah! You can get another EnV3 for $49.99". sioufowerishjfdwisufjiosdhf!! I amaze myself sometimes. Needless to say, my new phone will be here in the morning :)

*I have been going to school for 4 weeks now. I have not missed one class. Nor been late to one class. Which is a huge accomplishment for me. Considering, I will be late to my own funeral. Had a close call today though. After being a mom for almost 2 years, you would think I would have grasped the concept of the word "unexpected". HAA!! Apparently not! I try to leave the house by 9 a.m. Plenty of time to get Luke to daycare, hang out with his friends for a little while, get to class, and settle in before my 9:30 class. Well, today was a different story. We got out the door at 9:17 and Luke just has to buckle himself into his carseat now, which adds a whole 2 minutes to the "getting and the car and going" process. We make it to the daycare, I rush him to his classroom, felt terrible about just giving him a quick kiss and rushing out the door. Got attacked by a mosquito several times. Followed a granny from DYC parking lot all the freakin way to SWIC parking lot. And got to class with 2 minutes to spare. I'm awesome, I know. Besides that, I have A's in both my classes. Algebra too!!! Holy Cow, miracles do happen!!! However, I have an exam Friday so let's keep our fingers crossed...

*All of you poor women out there that have to endure hunting season, I feel your pain. If you really think about it, depending on what the man in your life hunts, it takes up half of the year. Which is just obsured to me. I don't get it. BUT this year, I am really really really trying to. I decided to stop complaining about Travis being gone all the time with this hobby/obsession. After all, I am numero uno priority?! So, I have decided to change this dilema. I am going to go hunting with him. Well, let me rephrase. I'm going to go "with" him hunting. I have done this once or twice, but not to the extreme I'm going to do this year. Marriage is about compromise. He hooked me up at Cabela's with boots, a leafy suit, and all the other expensive, odd, unflattering thingiemajigs. I'M GONNA DO THIS! He loves the idea. And after going "shooting" with him, I'm finding it's acutally "kinda" fun. Please don't tell him this! It might even be kind of romantic? hmm..I'll have to debate that later. If anything, I look cuter in camo than him.

*A couple of my besties have had rough week. I'm not going to talk about their business on here, but I just want them to know I'm here for them in the good times & the bad. I love them like they were my own sisters. And I will not only be here for them, I will walk to the moon and back if they need me to. YaYa <3

*My front door is finally RED!!! :) Apple-a-Day Red to be percise. It's so purdy! I love it.I should love it after not having a front door on for 5 days & 39798 coats of paint later. UGH! I'll get before & after pictures up as soon as my new storm door is put on.

I guess that's enough updating for now. If you are still reading this you probably want me to be done anyways. My promise to you this week is to make shorter blogs with some exciting pictures! :)
