Oh Hoochie...
Hooch would be our flubbery cheeks, slobbery, goof ball of a Boxer. We got him the day after Christmas of 2007. I LOVED him. He was our baby, until the day I got pregnant. I have always been a dog lover and maybe it was the hormones getting the best of me but...that dog annoyed the crap out of me! The drooling, the licking, the sniffing..oh the list goes on & on. I freaked, needless to say, epsecially after my baby shower and had all of that clean, santized baby stuff scattered throughout my house. There was no way in heck that dog was going to flop is big ol drolling cheeks on my baby's stuff! Then the nesting started. Hooch was kicked out (to the dog house outside). Call me what you want, but my baby was far more important to me than any dog and being a new mother I was a little bit on the OCD side. Anywho... after 2 years, we have been contimplating back & forth if we should let him come back inside. Luke absolutely adores him. He is constantly wanting to go outside & play with his "OOOCHIEEE". So Ol Mama gave in, every little boy needs a dog. Hooch is back inside!! I told Trav I'd give him 1 week, if he had an accident inside or got on my nerves he was back out to the dog house. Well, it's been a week & I couldn't be more happier with our decision!! He has been such a good dog, maybe before he was just going through his puppy stage, I don't know. Luke & him are best buds. It still grosses me out when he eats something out of Luke's hand or licks him all over. But Luke just eats it up, and not to mention is ALWAYS dirty now, so all the drolling does is cleans him up a bit. I just breathe & tell myself I can give him a bath when they are done playing & sanitize everything in sight!
