I would say Luke is above average in his age range for verbal skills. He talks "clearly" and repeats almost anything you ask him to. Daily conversations take place & he defintely verbalizes what he wants, needs, feels. However, the words "Thank You" have never ever came out of his mouth. He say "Pwwwwease" almost everytime it is necessary. Heck, he even does sign language for Please. Sometimes he even says "Pwwwwwease, Wuuuuuub Yoooou" when he really really wants something. But for some odd reason, he doesn't get the concept of saying Thank You. Maybe he's just a stinker that after he gets what he wants the testostrone kicks in and the charm disappers. But TODAY was the day!!! He finally grasped the concept of THANK YOU!!! Very Very IMPORTANT in my mind. So, of course we have been practicing and I'm proud to say that he has caught on. Now we get a pwwwwwease, wuuuub yooou, and tank yooou :)
Gosh, I'm raising the next Albert. Haha, obviously not:
BUSTED!!!!
Oh my, the joys of having a boy. Girls don't do things like this do they? This is what happened. Luke was quiet for .29387 seconds. I knew something was up, went in the kitchen & sure enough he was dying of thirst? And just HAD to take it upon himself to get a drink. Of course, being the crazy lady I am, was really quiet, grabbed my camera and took a snap shot of this crazy, gross memory. Heck, why not? He was already drinking out of it, what would another 30 seconds hurt.
