Bahahaha!
Ok, for real. I was totally this guy once or twice in my 45 minute work out last night but....
I have to say, I really really did LOVE the spin class!! It was awesome & sooo worth it.
If you are anything like me, you might be asking yourself what "spinning" exactly consists of. I didn't really put much thought into it. Thinking you just rode a bike that stayed in place. No biggie. I could sooo do that. Ha! Right....the bike doesn't move. But it was a little more than taking a nice little bike ride.
We started off by doing just that. The other girls started pedaling before the class even started. The bike was a little tricky to get on. There are straps for your feet? Ok. After my 5 minute battle with the bike, I finally got situated and started pedaling like all the pros. Apparently they all knew something I didn't.
Then the lights went off! Yes!! HOLLLAAA. Workout in the dark. No one needs to see this anyways. It was aweesoomme!! There was a strand of rope light & that was it. Love!
Then the music started. Kick ass girly music. Lotta Pink. My girl!! Who doesn't want to give it their all when they hear music like that? Love!
Despite the completely beyond uncomfortable seat, it wasn't bad once we got started. I can do this. Pssshh.
The farther along the class got, the more intense it got. Resistance kept going up & up & up and once I thought it couldn't go up anymore...it did. Then she said it was time to stand. Mmmkkay? Ok. Harder, but way better than sitting on that horrible rechid seat. I was feeling the burn. I look like I just got out of the shower. Drenched in sweat. Woohoo!! Burning those calories. Like Darla says, "if it hurts, your doing something right!"
After a couple minutes of the "burning so bad I think I'm going to die" feeling went away, the endorphines started kicking in & I felt great. THEN the instructor said we were going to do jumps. Ok? How in the heck do you do "jumps" on a farreakin bike with your feet strapped to the pedals? Ha...well, let me just tell you...I soon found out why your feet are strapped to those pedals. Yowza!! We would stand, hover, sit, and pop right back up ALL WHILE PEDALING over & over & over again. Super fast. I almost died. Really. If my feet weren't strapped, I would of fallen off the bike.
But I did it. I did it. The whole work out. Without stopping. And I felt great!!!! I'm actually looking forward to the next class.
If any of you ladies are Y members you should really think about joining me. It's FREE!! And fun. Your butt is going to hurt like hell the next day but the instuctor swears by the 3rd, 4th time it will go away. Ha. Come on!!!! Puuhlease :)
PS After Spinning Class last night, I headed to Darla's for a PT session for an hour. Just sayin....
GO ME!!! Woot Woot!!!
Today. I'm extremely sore once again, but feel on top of the world!

Good luck and I might consider that when Isaac comes to lose my baby weight.
That's AWESOME, good for you!! That actually does sound like a lot of fun. Let me know if you ever do it in the future...like several months from now. I honestly don't know if I should burn a ton of calories like that while breastfeeding. I know it sounds dumb, but I have a hard time keeping my weight up enough to sustain my little porker, haha.
Dude...I'm wore out just reading it. The way my legs are screaming today just from the few minutes I let Jillian kick my ass, I don't see spinning in my near future. Yet.
Ahhh, Adrien I should of breastfed lol.
I hate Jillian. I seriously don't ever think I've made it past 3 days of the 30 days ever, ha!
way to go!!!
I'm tired just from reading about it!! However, I've always wanted to know what happened in spinning & I think I might want to try it....not until january of course!!
Keep up the hard work....it will pay off!!
