School & Shots

Monday was a big day!

This mama is back at school. Not much of a summer break when you have a newborn. But, you take what you can get. I'm not all that worried about this semester. I'm only going on Monday & Wednesdays and then I have an online class as well. Much better than last semester when I was there all day Monday-Thursday BLAH! So hopefully there won't be as much complaining going on. Gosh, I hate complaining. Really I do.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my psychology class. I feel so in my element. Makes me WANT to go forward with my education and reach my dream. My professor is A.W.E.S.O.M.E! Smart, really smart. Funny. Sweet. Handsome. I'm pretty much estatic about the whole situation. However, he informed us that he just found out he has a brain tumor :( Go figure, right? Ugh. So incredibly heart breaking. BUT! He said it's binine and that he will be having surgery in a couple weeks to remove it. He'll be out 4 to 6 weeks which sucks terribly but he is going to be okay and is in good spirits about it. I already miss him and I've only known him for one day, ha!

History of Religion. My choice!! I think it will be fascinating. Most might know, I'm a little skeptical of what I believe in and don't believe in. My professor sumed it up perfectly for me today. "It's okay to not know what you believe in, but as long as you are on a journey to figure it out..that's enough in itself" THANK YOU!!! Finally someone else thinks the way I do. I'm not going to pretend or be a fake. I WANT to believe in something. And until I do, I'm not going to be a hyprocrite. I have had the same professor the past three semesters. Ha, I think I have used up my last class with him. Complete dork, but he cracks me up!

So yes, I think I am actually going to enjoy this semester. Only three classes. Only two days a week. I can do this. I will do this!

Logan had his 2 month check up too!!! He now weighs 10 pounds 10 ounces and is 23 inches long!!! I can't believe it! It is caaarazy how much he has grown. He has more than doubled his birth weight. And the doctor isn't worried about his growth anymore YAY!! She said that he is finally on track. Phew, I was holding my breath for the past month until I heard that good news.

And of course, he had to get his dreaded 2 month shots. Second kid seems so much easier. Don't get me wrong, it still breaks my heart but knowing that he isn't going to remember it and hate me the rest of his life makes it a tad easier. He was such a trooper. Like AMAZING! Of course he turned red and cried right when they stuck him but the moment I picked him up he stopped. Like completely!

He might be a stinker but he is a toughie! His brother would of been crying for the next half hour. Go Logan!!

So yes, life is getting a little crazier. But, I don't think I know any other way :)
