Ahh, 34 days til MOVE IN DAY!!!!!!
Living Room
Living Room

What I'm thinkin:
Light + Cloth + Kids = Mama wanting to pull her hair out!!
But..... It is super comfy! And I am constantly changing things around so the neutral color will give me room to work with for new throw pillows, paint, etc.
Side Note: There is NO changing Dad's mind on the recliner. It is the ONE piece of furniture I gave him permission to pick out. It massages, heats, has speakers and....a built in cooler....
(maybe once the basement is finsihed it can go down in the man cave)
Kitchen
OK. This is my dilema.
The kitchen & dining room are right next to each other. Open floor layout.
Do I match the tables? Do I keep them in the same color family?
There is a dining room table that is the exact same as the kitchen table above ^^
but is rectangle and short. It seats six & would have two chairs instead of the bench.
Also, the table comes in all brown. Do you like the two tone?
This is a server that would go in the dining room.
Also, comes in all brown.
What I'm thinkin:
I want a counter height table in the kitchen, that seats six (the other two chairs will go up to the island for seating). I like the bench. It's different. But... the table is plain jane. And it curves on two sides. Putting a table cloth on it will be a pain I'm sure. I don't want to be matchy matchy. I just don't know what goes with what.
Trust me. If I could afford to buy all of my furniture from Pottery Barn & hire an interior designer, I would. But we are on a beer budget here folks. So please.. input, suggestions, ideas, dontations (jk)

I'm loving it all...but I can totally see a chocolate milk stain right in the middle of that pretty couch. But then again...I don't know what stains and what washes out unless it has to do with a dog.
I think you could do any option with the tables if you have one with black in it.
The couches, I would go with darker just to save your sanity.
The tables, I'm with Heather on that one, as long as they are in the same color family you are good.
Love the living room furniture! I say if the fabric is easy to spot clean then go for it. :)
I don't think you can go wrong with the tables! So jealous that you get new furniture. :D Enjoy it!
Thanks for the input ladies! It is such a hard decision. I'm going to enforce the no eating in the living room, so hopefully stains should be far and few in between.
Adrien, no worries. We won't have any $$ for food to eat at that new kitchen table lol ;)
I LOVE those pillows on that couch!! I really like the two toned table, and I agree with the others you don't have to match the tables. I wouldn't get the bench....sometimes benches are pretty close and what if you have a big and little person sitting on it....one it going to have to be closer to the table then the other (how would that work)
=)
