Our 4th & a few notes..

With Daddy working 70 hours a week,
we decided to skip the BBQ & swim parties
and opted for a Superman marathon and naps.
It didn't feel much like a holiday
but having him home for the day was just what we all needed.

After everyone was well rested,
we packed a picnic 'dinner' and
headed to Valmeyer for FIREWORKS!

The boys did great.
Luke made us clap after every single firework.
And Logan watched in amazement with his arms behind his head.

Yet another holiday memory tucked away :)
Hope you & yours had a wonderful 4th too!!

I think it is also worth noting:

Logan Bradlee has been BOTTLE FREE for a week now!!!!!!

Hollllllaaaa!!!

Amazing feeling to have one potty trained and the other off the bottle!!
So happy!! And I'll be even more happy in 3 years when I have...
Oh em gee...
THREE boys bottle free & potty trained!!!

I also need to note his 12 month check up.
(that was 2 weeks ago, whoops)
Because let's face it.
This is important stuff that you are all interested in.

21 pounds & 30 inches tall.
25% for weight & 50% for height.

Same as his bradur in percentiles.
Obviously, my children don't take after me.

Healthy, healthy, healthy baby boy!
The only problem...
The caute little 'bucky' look Loggie has goin on,
isn't because his other teeth haven't come in yet.
There is a piece of skin that is blocking his two front teeth from growing together.

Doc says no biggie...
He is either going to fall & hit it one of these days
It will bleed and bleed and bleed OR
the dentist will end up snipping it????

Ya, no biggie?
Bucky is cute at 1 but probably not so much at 16.
Has anyone heard of this before? Suggestions? No biggie?

And a random picture of my Luke.
Nothing worth noting,
except that he is the comedian of the family.
Tests my patience every single day.
Yet still manages to melt my heart :)

Aw, love that picture of you guys on the Fourth! I'm pretty sure Eric had some kind of skin or bone or something blocking his teeth that had to get repaired before he could get braces. He has a brilliant smile now, so no worries! :)

i had that thing snipped between my teeth when i was like 13 or something. honestly don't even remember it hurting or being a big deal at all.
i had crazy buck teeth, and so does henry. lol. maybe logan and henry will be in the same class and be buck teeth buddies. lol.

but for real it's nothing to freak about. it grows back it's just crazy short/small.

Lyla has the same piece of skin and I took her to the dentist and he said the same thing. Maybe she will fall or when she's old enough to care shell want it cut.. I'm not that worried about it.

I had a gap in my teeth and got it snipped when I was 5, I think. I just remember being more scared of the actual process than it actually hurting at all. It honestly sounds better than falling and hitting it and making it bleed :/
