24 WEEKS!

24 weeks. 1 day.
6 MONTHS!!!!

Had my 24 week check up yesterday.
And another ultrasound.
Unfortunately, my placenta has not moved up any.
Obviously.
Do you see how low I'm carrying?!
I literally feel like he might fall out any minute.
And I still have 3ish months left.
However!
Liam is perfect.
Just shy of 2 pounds.
Just as he should be :)

Mama's uterus on the other hand....
is wore out.
I'm sure having 3 babies in 4 years has
NOTHING to do with that....
The doc gave me the confirmation that I have been dreading.
ZERO chances of a vaginal delivery :(
I have shed quite a few tears in the past 24 hours.
That is the LAST thing I wanted.
But the thing I want most is a healthy baby.
So. That's that.

Blood pressure is finally back to normal.
122/82. I'll take it!
Gained....
4 pounds.
That is a total of 8. Guess I have to take it.

Lots & lots to look forward to this month!
The beginning of the 3rd trimester!
The 100 days or less countdown!
The final touches on Mr. Liam's room!

So many emotions.
Ahhhh, Mommy absolutely cannot wait to
meet you sweet sweet baby boy!!

Back to the doctor on our
wedding anniversary in 4 weeks!
And then we will be going every 2 weeks.
So close! But yet so far away!

LOL that last picture cracks me up!
I feel you on not being able to deliver vaginally... I cried so much in the first weeks after we came home. Nothing like feeling like you failed. It took me a while to realize that it was the best thing for me AND Lou. And I have a healthy baby boy in my arms and that's all that matters now!

I'm really sorry that you're not getting the delivery that you wanted. :/ But there is an upside to having it all planned out: it's all planned out! No surprises, and you really get to feel prepared for the baby to come. :) Maybe SOMEDAY I'll get to go into labor on my own....

Love the pictures! :)

I'm am sure you don't think so but I feel like this is flying by! You will be cuddling that itty bitty boy in no time. I am sure Liam's room is adorable!
Just remember this is the best possible thing for Liam and you can't control it. A planned delivery will be a nice change for you. You have had enough excitement already!

Awwww...that's a bummer. I know how much that was worrying you. I think we need to go to dinner to discuss it. Liam looks hungry.

I was supposed to deliver vaginal but he was breech so I had a c-section. It was great! It's not as painful as you would think and I wasn't even all the way numbed! :S!!!! ... I just realized I put great... lol it was nice not having to worry about needing an episiotomy.(sp?) and it was much faster. Don't feel like a failure! No mom should for having a c-section that is needed and doctor recomended. Our bodies are making miracles in there! They will need a break once in awhile... getting a c-section is perfectly fine. Chin up! :)
