back to normal

with my uncle's passing 2 weeks ago,
everything has been off track.
and if you know me whatsoever...
being 'off track'
makes my anxiety go from a 6 to a 10.
yes. anxiety runs my life.
we will discuss that another day...

my cousin from out of state
has been our roommate for the past 2 weeks.
she just got on a plane to head back home.
and although i love her to pieces (KT)
i am more than ready to get back to our normal routine.

my diet life style change has been put on the back burner.
i made it to the gym twice.
my house is a mess. my pantry is bare.
and i owe my husband.
even though he knew i was crazy when he married me
i tend to take a lot of my stress out on him.
and the past couple weeks he has been my punching bag.

so with that being said.
it's time to get back to our day to day life.
go grocery shopping. do a ton of laundry.
get my ass to the gym.
and maybe even surprise toots with a date night.

on another note.

last night was the premiere of The Voice.
we were glued to the tv waiting to see one of our favorites.
Dustin Clark!!!!!
he has been playing at the office for over two years now.
and we are in love.
like seriously. trav even has a man crush on him.
if he goes big...
i might just have to show you a video
of those two singing wagon wheel together.

he wasn't on last night...
but he is hoping by next tuesday we will see his audition.
so if you haven't ever checked it out before..
i encourage you to do so! keeping my fingers crossed.
he deserves it :)

I'm so sorry for all of the loss and the stress in your life lately. But I'm glad that you are seeing the light at the end. Hang in there! Our world isn't "normal" right now, either, and I can't wait to get back in the swing of things!

I don't always watch The Voice, but I think I might have to start this season! :)

Thank you Adrien!! I feel like it has been heartbreak after heartbreak the past couple months. Ready for it to end.
