PV

Yes. It is midnight.
Yes. I haven't slept in TWO days.
Yes. I haven't had anything to eat in 13 hours.

Why you might ask???
Oh ya. That is because my heart is on fire!!!!!
I have heartburn like nobodies business.

It's not the food I'm eating. Ok?
It is constant....constant agony.
Whether I eat or don't eat.
Whether I eat this or that.
Whether I eat at this time or that time.

It's not because of smoking.
It's not because of alcohol.
It's not because of caffeine.

So tonight I finally gave in.
I needed Pepcid.
That is what my doctor said I could take.
I'm not crazy about taking anything, buuuut
when you are a starving, stressed, irritated, tired, uncomfortable pregnant lady
you'll do just about anything. So I was on the hunt.

I really didn't have the 'ummff' to leave the house
at 10 p.m. in the cold rain. So Matty was my first attempt.
I was positive he would have some! Negative.
Next, Moto. Yup. Big fat negative.
Seriously??? 24/7 apparently means SQUAT.
Closed for some stupid "system update".
Alright. Cowell's.
Remember....it's a Tuesday night after 10 in RED BUD.
Cowell's seriously feels like I'm half way to Waterloo by the time I get there.
Oh ya. CLOSED!!!! I could of swore they were open 24/7?!
Sweet baby Jesus.
Last resort. Good ol Handee. Gross!
They were OPEN!?!? Ahhh, there is hope!
Sorry mam we don't carry pepcid.

Sarah you poor thing! I had that 24/7 heartburn my entire pregnancy with Katelynn. It was miserable and I feel your pain. I took zantac and it helped a little but never got rid of it. I used to try to sleep in the recliner in the living room because it got so bad when I would lay down. I hope yours passes. On a positive note though, my residents at the nursing home all told me my baby would be born with alot of hair and guess what? When Kate was born she had enough hair that I could have put a barrette in it!
