Double Digits!!!

99 DAYS!!!!!

Well hello there double digits! I've been waiting for you :)
A lovely mile marker that I am so happy to have reached.

I had my monthly doctor's appointment yesterday. The basics. Pee in the cup, check blood pressure, measure belly, hear the baby's heartbeat, and of course...... the dreaded scale. EEEEKK! I told you my doctor wasn't going to be happy with me. SEVEN stinkin pounds in ONE month. I knew the lecture was going to start. But to my defense...technically I have only gained TWO pounds this pregnancy. I am two pounds over my original weight & uh helloooooo...they weighed me before I peed. The nazi told me that he doesn't go by my original weight, he goes by the months. So yes seven pounds. And I was in trouble. He's such a pain in the butt sometimes. Told me no fast food, no fried food, no sweets...ummm what is left? I'm pregnant. I will eat whatever I want to eat. I told him that I do not eat any different than I ever have. If anything, less. With the exception of the ice cream addiction the past couple weeks. But seriously...ice cream can't be THAT bad for you?! Heck, we even switched to 2% milk & with my heartburn I can drink a gallon a day myself. Side Note: Did you know MotoMart has a Milk Club?! I didn't!! But now I am a  proud member & only need six more gallons to get a FREE one. YESSSS!!! Anywho...besides breaking the scale everything else was perfect. Logan's little heartbeat was beating strong at 148 bpm :)

I have been contemplating back and forth about having a water birth. I asked my little crazy Greek doctor what he thought about it. He told me "You crazy woman. That was some silly fad in the late 80's. You do no such thing. Have epidural." Of course I replied with a buuuuu and he stopped me. "You ever see natural birth" Well of course I have...on television. "You see it in person and you have epidural" bahahaha. I guess my blunt doctor made my decision for me. No water birth. Possible epidural. I'm not saying I will or will not. I will decide in the moment if I Neeeeeed it.

Oh! FYI for my preggo buddies!! Stopped by the Motherhood store today. Ok. You know how they are crazy expensive?? Well, I don't know what was going on. No sale. No coupons. And I got a dress for $24.95 (Seriously..that's a whole outfit for $25, you can't even get a non maternity dress for that cheap anymore), they had docker capris for $20. Usually any pants, shorts, capris there are like $30-$50. They are super cute. I got a pair of white ones. But there was navy, khaki, brown, and maybe gray? They have some super cute new tees but of course they were $26 a piece or you could buy one get one 50% off. Ha. Yeah right. I'll stick to my cute white capris and my husbands ratty t-shirts. jk....about the t-shirts but I'm not paying that much for a little tee. Are they insane?!

Ahhhhh, Logan. Mommy is so ready to meet you. You can stop giving me heartburn anytime. And please please stop pushing your entire body againist me. I can't breathe and we have quite a ways to go.

Bahaha...I definitely had a couple of 7 pound months! My doctor never lectured me about it, but I did sometimes get "gentle reminders" to "remember to stop eating if you feel full." :)

I didn't know you were considering a natural birth! I could NEVER do it!

That's becuase you weren't overweight to begin with. haha. He's greek, I don't take him too seriously :)

Oh ya! I waited til the very end to get an epidural with Luke. I never even hit the little button. So needless to say..I think I felt a little more than the average bear. Then I had back pain for months & months after he was born. So a few minutes of pain compared to months of pain, it seems like an easy decision. But, then again that is the worst pain in the world. haha.

I "think" I could do it with the water birth. I'm not sure if I will be able to do it otherwise. I'll just go with the flow once I'm in the momemnt.

I am a proud member of the Moto Milk Club! It is the cheapest place to get milk in Red Bud and then you earn your way to a free one!

P.S. My stomach is still a little queasy from just thinking about a natural birth!
