Luke's birthday is December 11th. Exactly 2 weeks before Christmas. Last year I was crazy enough to go shopping on Black Friday & was able to buy most of his birthday & x-mas presents at fairly good prices. However, with a birthday comes a party. Between buying all his birthday/x-mas presents & everyone elses presents and having a birthday party for him put us in a very tight financial situation that I do not want to get into again. So, this year I decided to plan a little ahead. I have been buying things here & there for his party. I know it is going to cost me the same in the end but it doesn't seem "as bad" if I buy in small doses. I was going to do a Circus Themed Party but after a lot of contimplating I decided againist it. Luke & all of his friends aren't quite old enough to enjoy a party like that, so we will save it for a later birthday. He loves Mickey Mouse, so why not have a Mickey Mouse Party!? Good decision, because it is soooo easy to find Mickey at any store we go to!! I am sooooo excited. I love Luke's birthday more than my own!! I can't believe my baby is going to be 2!!!
This is what I have so far.... :)
AND since Luke's birthday is in the dead of winter, ugh! Why couldn't he have been born on a nice fall day or pretty spring day? I decided that it is a MUST to have something entertaining for the kiddos to do. Snowball fight? I think not..our luck there won't even be snow the day of his birthday. I think a bounce house will do the trick!! My friend bought one of these bad boys for her son's birthday & it was a big hit. So hopefully Lukey will love it. After all, he is my little prince and deserves the best birthday parties ever :)
