a family is a family is a family

I know it's a little blurry, but here is a sneak peek at our (new) family :)

I just got off the phone with Mom. She told me that yesterday was amazing! The whole family hung out all day catching up on the past 4 decades. She was able to make them her famous mashed potatoes for dinner and then they went to see her sister's comedy show. Today they are site seeing together. She said they are everything she hoped for and more. AMAZING people who can't wait to meet all of us!! And we can NOT wait to meet them :) From what little I know about them, we all sure seem more alike than different. Grandpa snuck away for a snooze with all the excitement, haha, aww! She said they are all sarcastic funny. Imagine that...obviously the apple doesn't fall far from the tree (cough cough mom) The one brother is a Chef, the other one works with the lighting for movie sets, the one sister is the social worker/comedian, and the other sister is a Pre-K teacher. They are drinkers, yessss! They will fit right in hehe. She looks like her sisters and she said her brothers are very handsome. She said their house is super cute. She also said that she has never felt so loved/wanted/at home in her entire life. Which can't be true because we love her more than anything, but I think I know what she was saying lol. Their flight comes in tomorrow night & I'm sure I will have a lot more pictures and stories to tell you. Thank you to everyone who has said such kind thoughts to us, we appreciate it & our glad that technology allows us to share our exciting news with everyone. I guess we will be planning a family trip to California realll soon :)
