Sunday Funday

Travis, Luke, and I went boating with Joe Joe on Sunday. It was goregous outside. I was nervous...ok A LOT nervous about taking Luke on a BOAT on the RIVER for multiple reasons! However, he shocked the heck out of us and was absolutely wonderful all day long!! It was the most perfect Sunday Funday EVER! I was back tracking in my mind & this is by far was the most relaxing, fun, family event we have actually enjoyed since the terror was mobile. Haha. I make it sound so much worse than what it really is, but him being confined to a little area meant no running/chasing which meant no anxiety attacks for mom or dad getting yelled at ;) This was our attempt of a family photo. Forgive the crazy hair. My hat flew off. We went back & got it..however, it was soaked & smelt fishy. Yuck!

LB was HALIRIOUUUS! Omgosh! He is such a water baby. He wasn't grasping the concept of NOT getting in the river to swim, nor the concept of NO you can not catch the fish with your bare hands. He's fearless too. He tried multiple times climbing up on to the front of the boat while it was going 50mph!! Can we say HEART ATTACK?! He would stand on my lap, close his eyes, put his arms up, and say "weeeee" as his cute little cheeks were flapping in the wind. lol. Oh I love my booger butt :)

Speaking of crazy hair!! Between sunscreen & wind Luke is sporting a new do as well.


He looks not so happy in these pics, but I promise you he had the time of his life!!




Guess we might just have to buy a boat!!! That last credit card is only a month or two away from being paid off!! Hmmmmm.... :)
