And that's a wrap

How in the heck do the weekends go by soooo fast?! Seriously, I would not mind whatsoever if weekends became Monday-Thursday and weekdays became Friday-Sunday. I think this weekend went by at lightning speed because tomorrow Luke & I will be snapped back into reality. Yup, spring semester starts. Luke will be in daycare Mon-Fri and Mommy will be in school Mon-Thurs and work at The Office on Fridays :(

Soooo Soooo nervous about this semester. Not only am I doubling my classes, they are not the easiest classes. AND I've been so freakin tired lately, 9:00 p.m. bedtime. Me! Miss little night owl herself, exhausted & passed out by 9. Maybe 9:30 if I'm feeling wild. How in the heck am I supposed to go to class all day, spend enough time with Luke, take care of my mom/wife duties, and finish my homework by 9?? Ya, probably not going to happen. I'm going to be one stressed out, cranky lady until May. Ahhh, May. I looong for you!

We had a great weekend!!! Friday night Trav & I went on a date. Yes! A date!!!! This will be #2 since Luke was born. #1 being our anniversary. It was soooo nice! I actually got to sit back & relax. Luke stayed with Nana & Papa Stines. I knew he was getting spoiled rotten so the 'guiltiness' I usually feel was small and tucked down deep. We went to the Olive Garden -yum-! We had an hour wait & Trav did not complain one bit. He's a changed man, I tell ya! And omgosh! Trav ordered some seafood fettitune & I have been daydreaming about it ever since. So if anyone wants to go to OG with me anytime soon...like this week! PLEASE let me know. Gosh, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I don't even really like seafood. Then we went to the movies. Seriously, the last time we went to the movies was the weekend before Luke was born. I told Trav we HAD to go, because I KNEW it would be the last time we would have a chance for a loooong time. Look at that, I was right a looooong time = 25 months! We watched The Dilema. Sooo funny!!! Absolutely love Kevin James & Vince Vaughn. While I'm at it, they had a preview for a new movie coming out in February called Hallpass. OMGosh, it looked halirious! Maybe we should have a date night once a month! Ohhh, that sounds amazing & sooo unrealistic. It was such a good night, and baby only made me sick twice! (thanks baby!) Maybe we should do every other month :)

I worked at The Office Saturday during the day. Saturday night we had Dillon's graduation party!!!!!!! We are soooo proud of him & are looking forward to seeing him a lot more now! Unfortunately, LB instantly put his crabby pants on at 9 and we had to head out early. Look at that, I can even go to a party and manage to go to be early.

Today has been full of football once again. Don't get me wrong, I love football. I really really do! However, I am SO ready for baseball to start. Maybe we will attempt a Cardinal game this year with Luke. Last year, not so good. But, he is starting to surprise me a little everyday. I wouldn't necessarily say the terrible 2's are anywhere close to being behind us, buuuut he is doing much better in public the past few weeks. While we are on Luke, potty update for the weekend: Yaaaaa, not so good. I really think he is still too young. Introducing, yes. FULL potty traing, no. Despite what others say, I know my son & I'm not going to push it. I think it's just like crawling, walking, talking. Forget the books. Or even what others say. Every baby/kid is different. Just the moment I think something might be 'wrong' with him, he seizes to amaze me. I used to think he would never walk and then a week later there he was running! Patience is a virtue, if Luke's pregnancy didn't teach me that..this one did.
