Weekend Wrap Up

it must of been 'the week of matt' this past week, i tell ya!

thursday was his birthday!!

as well as his twin brother joe's.

thought i would just throw that out there

because apparently a lot of people didn't know he is a twin.

in fact. he is actually a triplet.

but his sister passed away only a few hours after delivery :(

 

and what is a birthday without cake & ice cream?

nothing. it is a fact!

so nana & luke made a cake.

and i have to say, it was pretty darn cute!

all luke's idea :)

 

 

friday somehow went from having a friday funday

for matty's birthday to a friday funday with my littles.

we went to the car wash, got slurpees, & were in bed by 9.

 

 

saturday dad had to work.

my mom called & said papa was going to watch the boys

so i could go with her to pick out a outfit

for a benefit she was going to that night.

well. she didn't have to ask me twice!

we went to maurcie's & checked out TCL boutique in waterloo.

and made it back to red bud just in time

for Small Town Style's grand opening!!!!

 

and let me tell you.

it was too much.

so freaking adorable. i could barely stand it!

and to see two single mama's who work their asses off

just beaming with happiness. amazing!

 

between my mom spoiling my ass rotten

and splurging at sts. i got more clothes

in one day than i have in an entire year! whoops.

 

i told trav to go have some fun saturday night & relax

while i stayed home with the kiddos.

after thinking long & hard about what we should have for dinner...

 

luke decided on tequilas lol.

claire came over & we just vegged all night long.

it was perfect.

 

trav is usually the one who makes brunch on sundays.

but i was feeling extra nice & let him sleep in while i made it.

we headed over to m&ms later that afternoon for gg's birthday celebration.

and called it an early night.

 

 

trav starts 7 12s today.

yes. TWELVE hour shirts, SEVEN days a week.

the last time he had to work this much...

i was this close to being admitted to the insane asylum.

 

but we did it before. we can do it again.

no complaining this time.

i gave that up remember ;)
