happy national pancake day!!

 

 

seriously. who makes this stuff up?

not that i care.

any excuse to have pancakes is fine by me!

 

we call them flapjacks around here.

and i just so happened to marry

the best flapjack maker around.

no joke. the man has skills.

even the neighbor kids come over on sundays

begging him to make them.

 

today. however. dad was at work.

and the boys were NOT impressed

 with their mother's flapjack abilities.

i'll give the hubs credit.

one thing he can do better than me.

someone wanted to type his name!!

yes. MY boy knows how to spell, write, and type

his entire name with NO help.

do you know how cool that is?

so cool. tingly good feelings right there. 

nevermind that he always says it in that order.

we've tried explaining it a million times.

he's just a tad stubborn.

 

before i reason with a 2 year old

that he does indeed need a nap...

 

i just wanted to give a little shout out to

one of my oldest friends, Nicole.

 

she is one of the most complex, contradicting, hilarious, caring people

 i have ever met. we are so completely different and so much a like.

and i know her like the back of my hand.

she is an amazing mom.

a single mom.

who is raising two kick ass kids.

 

she just started a blog.

which is very ironic considering....

she used to make fun of me for blogging.

see? i told you she contradicts herself all.the.time.

bahahaha.

 

as of now her blog is not public.

but i am hoping that eventually she decides to change her mind.

i have never found so much support and love

from anyone than i have from my blogger girls.

and that is exactly what she needs.

love and support.
